The girls both got haircuts today. They both look so cute!

Happy birthday Chloe

Can't believe Chloe was born five years ago today. We are so lucky to have a smart, funny, kind and sweet little kid. Who will be starting kindergarten!

August update

We've had a pretty fun summer - we've had lots of time for parks, play dates and fun this summer.

We had a few weeks of crazy thunderstorms that Kona did not like - those are the pics of the scraped up wall that I will post.

Chloe turns 5 in two days, has her birthday party on the 18th and then starts school on August 29th.

Her uniform has arrived and fits well.  Chloe has been wearing her jumper a lot this week.

Parker doesn't really know what is happening but I imagine she will be sad once chloe does not go to the same school as her.  We'll see how that goes.

Whistler Pics

I finally have uploaded all the pictures from Whistler!  Our trip was so much fun - minus the 6 hour drive each way.  The kids were less than thrilled to be in the car that long.

Highlights from the trip:
- the Petermans were there half the time - Chloe cried when her friends had to leave
- The Pool - lots of swimming - beautiful view of the mountain - and we even saw a bear from the pool deck on the first day
- Eating - we ate out a lot - it is nice to not have to worry about cooking much on vacation
- The adventure zone - Chloe did the adventure zone almost every day - her favorite is the ropes course.  Parker could only do the bouncy house but loved that
- Chloe did horseback riding one day.  She thought it was so fun
- Being able to walk everywhere is no nice - only one day we took the car out for about a 5 minute drive to a different park

Circle time

We got to the aspen room a bit early yesterday. Parker joined the other aspens for circle time. She loved it.

Summer

It is nice and hot. Kids staying cool in the sandbox and we are in the shade with a cold beverage.

Back home!

I will hopefully upload pics tomorrow from the trip, but we are glad to be back home today. 6 hours in a car is too long with two kids!
