Kona - seriously??

We were able to officially test our new GPS device with Kona yesterday. I believe the cannons being shot in Magnolia was the reason for her freaking out. I knew about it and gave her a sedative before I left but didn't seem to work.

At about 11:45 am yesterday, I receive an email that Kona is outside the area on 85th and 24th. I had just dropped off my car for servicing and was meeting Sara at Nordstrom cafe for lunch. I convince Sara to drive me to Ballard to get the leash (my keys were at honda so I had to climb through the dog door to get the leash). We follow the GPS and locate Kona in Blue ridge about 100th and 24th. We wind our ways through the curvy streets and finally find her - but she won't stop running. After about 10 minutes we finally catch her and drive her back to our house. Sara has a mini cooper so kona was on my lap driving back to Ballard. It was crazy but very glad for the GPS to locate her quickly. What an adventure!

Still don't know how she got out - both gates were shut. I guess figured out how to climb/jump over one of them but apparently now we may need to buy a camera so we can watch her and see what she does.

Thanks to Sara for helping track Kona down with me. Her one month old little baby stayed asleep in the backseat throughout the adventure.
