We can't quite believe it, but Chloe had her first day of Kindergarten on Thursday. She had half days Thursday and Friday so RJ took the days off of work so we could ease into it with her before she starts before and after school care. The whole family dropped her off on Thursday morning - mostly exciting other than the time she had to say goodbye to us. There were a few tears but I think once she left she was fine. They had an assembly the first day of school, got magic play-dough and overall had a really fun time.
Once school was over, Chloe and RJ went around to run a few errands and Chloe told the worker at Barnes and Noble and Macy's "today was my first day of Kindergarten." She is very proud.
Hopefully after this week the routine will set in and the drop offs will get a little easier.
